QED 42 Strand Speaker Cable is QED’s first ever speaker cable, made up of 42 superior grade oxygen free copper strands. As QED’s entry-level speaker cable, launched in 1975, QED 42 Strand combines convenience and performance.

The cable’s figure of 8 construction makes it small enough to fit in the most demanding places, easy to terminate and ideal for most discreet wiring situations. QED 42 Strand speaker cable can be installed in all situations with long cable runs and room to room connections.

QED 42 Strand speaker cable can be fitted with our high quality 4mm banana plugs as an option.

Designed to fit standard 4mm amplifier and speaker sockets found on most high-end audio separates, these premium banana plugs are constructed from a gold plated metal conductor with lantern pin section. Termination of speaker cable is facilitated using twin screw fixing for easy assembly. The twin screw cable termination ensures a consistently high level of performance and connectivity.
