Retro-fit Cinema Room – Rochford

This is an amazing retrofit Home Cinema installation that our client was looking to install in his outbuilding/Barn.  As the room was already decorated and HDMI cables could not be run to the projector without being on show or by chasing the walls, we had to run network cables outside the building and back in again. (Video over network Baluns were used).  The speaker cables were neatly run across the top of the wooden oak beams.

The room was very bright – so an Epson Projector was chosen because of its high lumens output combined with excellent picture quality. In addition an 8ft Fixed Grandview Cinema screen was specified, resulting in fantastic images.

A Yamaha RXA3050 audio visual receiver and Blu-ray player was selected for the Home cinema electronics to deliver cinema-room filling sound with superb video performance. Bowers and Wilkins M1 speakers were chosen for their performance, style and neatness.   A REL wireless subwoofer was chosen as this was possible to run without a cable and the REL S5 delivers more than sufficient to fill the large room with deep, controlled bass.

The end result is an awesome, neat and elegant cinema room.
