Voice control for Spotify is here. With Spotify Premium and Sonos One, or a Sonos speaker connected to an Echo device, you can ask Alexa for your favourite playlists and songs, then easily pause, resume, skip and adjust the volume

| Starting from today, enjoy easy voice control for Spotify Premium with your Sonos One. Link your Spotify account in both the Alexa and Sonos apps to get started. Then just say “Alexa, discover devices.” Alexa may say that she can’t discover any new devices. That’s okay. Next, make sure the music you ask for comes from Spotify by setting it as your default music service in the Alexa app. • Go to the Settings part of the menu on your Alexa app.
• Scroll to Accounts and select Music & Media.
• Select Choose default music services.
• Under Default music library choose Spotify.
• Tap Done. Now ask Alexa for your favourite playlist, artist, album or song, then pause, resume, skip or change the volume. “Alexa, play David Bowie.”
